Soccer Training in Germany for Families Visiting Munich

Many families come to Munich for a holiday, for the summer, for work or to get to know the city before a possible move. Their children don't want to lose their rhythm, and they want to experience Munich soccer and see how they measure up against strong German players. As a football school in Munich, we have trained players from the USA, England, India and Pakistan and know what visiting families need: a clear plan, the right level and someone who speaks their language.

  • Ambitious club players aged 6 and up
  • Stays from a few days to the whole summer
  • Training in a team with players at the right level
  • 1-on-1 sessions in English, no German needed

Longer Stays: From Request to Final Report

Staying for one week or longer? This is how we plan your child's training.

  1. Send us your request

Tell us your dates, your child's date of birth, current club and level. Match footage or a short note from the current coach helps us prepare.

  2. Assessment in week 1

Your child's first sessions double as an assessment. The coach sees your child on the ball, in game situations and with the team.

  3. Training with a lead coach

One lead coach stays with your child for the whole stay, runs the 1-on-1 sessions and keeps an eye on progress in team training.

  4. Feedback and final report

You get regular progress updates during the stay and a written final assessment that you can pass on to your child's coaches at home.

Training Options: Tailored to Your Stay

Every stay is different, so we put together the training to match your wishes: how many team sessions and how many 1-on-1 sessions per week. Only in town for a few days? Your child can also book a single session. Many visiting players have already trained with us three times a week in a team and once 1-on-1 with their lead coach, and we adapt this to your child and your schedule.

  • Team + 1-on-1 training

Team sessions with players at the right level, combined with 1-on-1 sessions with a lead coach. You decide how many of each per week.

  • Single session during your holiday

Only in town for a few days? Book one or two sessions, also over Christmas or Easter.

  • 1-on-1 training in English

Your child works on personal goals with a lead coach, for example first touch, finishing or decision making.

  • Training with a sibling or friend

Instead of the 1-on-1 session, two players can train together with their coach.

  • Assessment at the start
  • Regular progress updates
  • Written final assessment for coaches at home
  • Personal offer for your whole stay

German Soccer Training in a Team at the Right Level

Team training is where visiting players learn the most: German football culture, a high tempo and new teammates. We coach our own performance team, one of the strongest in Munich in its age group, and work with several partner clubs.

After the assessment, we choose the team that challenges your child best. Strong players can also train with an older age group.

1-on-1 Sessions with One Lead Coach

1-on-1 football session with a Munich Kickers coach

Your child has one lead coach for the whole stay. In the weekly 1-on-1 session, the coach works on your child's personal goals, for example first touch, finishing or decision making, and follows your child's progress in team training.

Travelling with siblings or a friend? Instead of the 1-on-1 session, two players can also train together with their coach.

After Your Stay: Year-Round Training and Club Options

Some families stay longer or plan a move to Munich. Year-round training with us is possible at any time. Joining a club permanently, with match registration, is a separate step: FIFA has strict rules for international registrations of players under 18, which in most cases require the family to live in Germany. We are happy to discuss your options personally after your stay.

FAQ: Football Training in Munich for Visiting Players

How much does football training in Munich cost for visiting players?

That depends on your wishes. We adapt the training to your stay: how many team sessions and how many 1-on-1 sessions your child does per week, or just a single session during your holiday. Send us your dates and wishes, and you will receive a personal offer.

We are only in Munich for a few days. Can my child still train with you?

Yes. Many visiting families book one or two sessions during their holiday, also over Christmas or Easter. Just send us your dates and we will suggest a time.

Can siblings or friends train together?

Yes. Instead of the 1-on-1 session, your child can train together with a sibling or a friend.

What are the best football training options for kids visiting Germany?

For a stay of a few weeks, a mix of team training and 1-on-1 coaching works best: your child plays with German players at the right level and works on personal goals with a lead coach. We combine both to match your stay, with the 1-on-1 sessions coached in English, at our training ground just north of Munich.

Is Munich Kickers a football academy?

Munich Kickers is a private football school in Munich, founded in 2019. Several of our coaches also coach at German professional youth academies (NLZ), and we have accompanied players into the Bayernliga and Bundesliga youth academies.

Is there a minimum stay or minimum booking?

No. You can book a single session, one week or your whole stay.

Are the sessions coached in English?

The 1-on-1 sessions are coached in English. Team training takes place with German teams, so not every session is in English. Our coaches have worked with players from the USA, England and India.

Will my child have the same coach throughout the stay?

Yes. Your child has one lead coach for the whole stay who knows your child's goals and runs the 1-on-1 sessions.

Do you provide feedback for my child's coaches at home?

Yes. You receive regular progress updates during the stay and a written final assessment at the end, which you can share with your child's coaches at home.

Do you offer small-group training for visiting players?

Our programme for visiting players combines 1-on-1 sessions with team training. Your child can also train together with one sibling or friend, but we currently do not offer groups of three or more for visiting players.

How do I reserve a place?

Send us your request with your dates via the contact form, WhatsApp or email. We will check availability, suggest a weekly schedule based on your wishes and send you a personal offer. Your place is reserved once you confirm the offer.

What happens if we have to cancel?

Individual sessions can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the session. The terms for longer stays are included in your personal offer.

Can my child join a club permanently after the stay?

Year-round training with us is possible at any time. A permanent club place with match registration is a separate step: FIFA has strict rules for international registrations of players under 18, which in most cases require the family to live in Germany. We are happy to discuss your options personally after the stay.

Where does the training take place?

We train at Moosachstraße 86, 85778 Haimhausen-Inhausermoos, just north of Munich.
